Trip Rates

We have tried to make booking your charter very easy. All the Captains listed here offer a variety of bay charters, but most of the trips are bay trips that mainly target speckled trout and red fish. There are also other species that can be targeted, but bay fishing for trout and reds are the most popular charters booked.

Galveston Bay Fishing Charters

• 1-2 people is $450.00 This is a 4-5 hour bay fishing trip.

• 3 people is $550.00 This is a 5-6 hour bay fishing trip.

• 4 people is $650.00 This is a 5-6 hour bay fishing trip.

• 5 people is $750.00 A few Captains can accommodate 5 people.

• $50.00 Deposit is required for all trips.

• $3.00 Processing Fee is added to every deposit.

• There is a reimbursement fee for all live bait. Either live shrimp or croaker. The fee will be the price that the bait camps charge your Captain. Any gratuity is greatly appreciated by your Captain, especially if you had a fun and good time.

All Captains charge the same price for all the trips. Each Captain will provide you with quality rod & reels, have all USCG safety equipment onboard and process and fillet your catch at the end of the day. You need to bring your drinks & snacks, a small cooler, TX fishing license and wear proper clothing for the weather conditions. Most Captains can accommodate up to 4 anglers, but a few Captains can accommodate 5 anglers. You will have to read their Bio to see which Captains can take up to 5 anglers out on a charter. Tight lines and great fishing!

• VERY IMPORTANT: For next day bookings (example - on Friday, you want to book for Saturday) please don't book after 8pm central time. Every Captain will need to be aware of a reservation at least 8-10 hours before the trip. Most charters start at 6am-7am, so each Captain will need to reserve bait the night before, make plans, speak with you to give you all the details and a lot of them will be asleep. To guarantee your reservation, giving your Captain enough time to plan the trip is a must. For any other type of reservation, you can book it any time of the day 24 hours a day.

Refund Policy

The $50.00 deposit is refundable within 5 days (120 hours) of the scheduled trip for any reason. The customer must e-mail us at bookmyfishingcharter@gmail.com for any refund request. The Captain is not responsible for any refunded deposits. Inside of the 5 days, the deposit is only refundable if the trip has to be canceled due to unsafe or dangerous weather conditions. If the customer cancels a trip within 5 days of the trip date or is a no show, the $50.00 deposit is non refundable.

One of the best things about booking a Captain on here is everyone of the Captains on here have been invited to be on this website. Not just anyone can sign up or make a listing to be on this website. Every single Captain has met all the requirements and has been approved to be listed on this website. We have a strict process that we go through very carefully and we have taken experience, knowledge, professionalism, success and many other important factors into consideration for all the Captains.

We understand that you have many choices when it comes to choosing a Captain, fishing guide or any fishing service for your outing. That is why we built this website. it gives your a good number of Captains that can meet all your fishing needs. It is a very easy process and the best thing is this is truly a Local Business. Every Captain on here has at least 10 years of guiding or charter fishing experience and each one runs a local service.

Remember that going fishing on a private charter is a service. We are not selling any products here or trying to advertise anything other than a fishing trip. No worrying about ads or us selling your personal information to 3rd party companies. We are offering you a fishing service with some of the best Captains in Galveston Texas. Our goal is to get you booked with a quality Captain so you and your guest will have a great fishing experience.

Each Captain on here is required to have all his necessary license. That would include USCG and TX Parks & Wildlife Dept. license. He should also have his personal commercial insurance. These are a couple of the documents that we require every Captain to have to participate on this website. We check these documents every year, but in no way are we responsible for any Captain listed on galvestonsfishingcharters.com and are not liable for damages of any kind under any legal theory arising out of or in connection with a Captain listed on this website.

Galveston's Fishing Charters is not liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to, personal injury, pain and suffering, emotional distress, loss of revenue, loss of profits, death, disability, loss of business, or anticipated savings, loss of use, loss of goodwill, loss of data, and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, even if foreseeable.

This website is here for the customers and the Captains and hopefully every outing will be a great experience. We understand there will be many happy customers that will return to this website and use it regularly, but we also understand that with any services rendered there will be a small amount of customers that are not satisfied. Galveston's Fishing Charters is here for our customers and will try to help resolve any issues that a customer may have, but we merely act as an intermediary for the customer and Captains listed on here. We can not be held responsible for any and all actions that may occur on a private charter with any of the Captains.
